I am an animal enthusiast turned writer. I love exploring the world around me, learning new facts, and telling others about the cool things I learned.
Before I became a writer, I earned my Ph.D. in Psychology from Cornell University in 2021. While at Cornell, I conducted research in Dr. Alexander Ophir’s neuroethology lab studying developmental experiences that influence adult behavior in both the lab and the field.
I received my B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Animal Behavior from Indiana University in 2016. While at Indiana University, I worked in Dr. Laura Hurley’s lab studying mouse vocal communication.
In addition to research, I enjoy running and reading fantasy books. I have lately also started lifting weights and playing curling.
